The Waterford Community

Established in 1986, The Waterford  features a clubhouse,  2 swimming pools, cabana, 4 tennis courts, and a play area. The Waterford utilizes a long range reserve planning study to insure all amenities and common property are maintained.

Ground was broken on The Waterford development in 1986.  It was the first development of its kind in Bartow County to include the amenities which we still enjoy today.  Amenities include a clubhouse, cabana, 4 lighted tennis courts and 2 swimming pools.  The Waterford utilizes a long range reserve planning study to insure all amenities and common property are maintained.  Recent updates include the renovation of the first floor of the clubhouse (2012), replacing the deck on the main pool (2011) and repaving the tennis courts (2010).

The first home groundbreaking was May 31, 1988 at 16 Buckingham Court by Scott Parmenter and family who still reside there.  The development was completed in phases with the river lots being in the last phase.  There are a total of 447 lots in The Waterford.  Note: The first six homes on the right coming in on Glen Cove and the sixth home on the left, up in the woods, are not part of The Waterford.  These seven homes do graciously use Waterford mail posts in order to give a uniform appearance.
